Magnetic Particle brake: Structure And Usage Points

  • by
Magnetic particle brakes

Magnetic particle brake is an electromagnetic brake that uses the principle of magnetic particle sliding energy consumption to control the size of the braking torque within a certain range. Magnetic particle brake has the characteristics of fast braking response speed, strong braking processing ability, high precision, etc. At the same time, because it will not wear out due to braking, its life can be extended. It is widely used in various fields such as printing machinery, packaging machinery, sewing equipment, textile machinery, etc.

Magnetic Particle brake structure composition

Magnetic particle brake is mainly composed of rotor, stator, electromagnetic coil, magnetic particle, junction box, etc.

  • Rotor: The rotating shaft of the brake motor, responsible for transmitting the braking torque.
  • Stator: Surrounding the rotor, forming a gap between the rotor, placing magnetic particle and other materials in it, and braking.
  • Electromagnetic coil: Control the size and change of the braking torque in the brake to achieve the purpose of precise control of the brake.
  • Magnetic particle: The magnetic particle filled between the stator and the rotor receives the braking control signal from the electromagnetic coil, thereby controlling the size of the braking torque.
  • Junction box: The junction box is installed in front of the electromagnetic coil and is responsible for easy-to-maintain line wiring.

Three major points to note when using magnetic Particle brakes

  • During use, the working status of the magnetic particle brake should be checked regularly to find and deal with problems in a timely manner.
  • During use, the operating procedures should be followed to prevent safety accidents.
  • During use, environmental protection laws and regulations should be followed to reduce pollution to the environment.

Summary

The magnetic particle brake is a device that uses the magnetization characteristics of magnetic particle for braking. It has the characteristics of simple structure, large braking force, and fast response speed. During use, attention should be paid to regular maintenance and maintenance, and operating procedures and environmental protection laws and regulations should be followed to ensure the normal operation and environmentally friendly production of the magnetic  particle brake.
