Principle

The magnetic particle electric motor dynamometer is a braking dynamometer (torque machine) designed and manufactured based on the magnetic powder torque technology principle. It is a torque machine that applies a torque load to the motor under test and absorbs its power. It is also a rotational torque— – Static torque converter. Both the speed sensor and the torque sensor are installed on the dynamometer, and the speed and torque of the motor under test are converted into pulse signals and analog signals through the electric motor dynamometer and sent to the dynamometer controller for display.

Cooling

When the motor under test drives the magnetic particle electric motor dynamometer to rotate, all the power output by the motor is absorbed by the magnetic powder dynamometer and converted into heat energy, which is dissipated by the radiator, external cooling fan or water cooling.

When the magnetic particle electric motor dynamometer is working, the controller provides an excitation current to the magnetic particle electric motor dynamometer. When the internal coil of the magnetic powder dynamometer is energized, a magnetic field is generated, so that the internal magnetic powder is arranged into a magnetic chain according to the magnetic force line. The pulling force generated by the magnetic powder chain becomes The resistance that prevents the rotor from rotating, this force is the load torque, and the magnitude of this torque is only related to the current that the controller adds to the dynamometer coil, and basically has nothing to do with the speed at which the tested motor drags the electric motor dynamometer to rotate.
